Welcome to the Olive Lane e-newsletter. Each month, these e-newsletters will provide you with updates on progress, traffic management and any potential disruption surrounding the Olive Lane development at Waverley, Rotherham. Our work at Olive Lane, Waverley Howard Civil Engineering is undertaking construction works at the new mixed-use Olive Lane Waverley development on behalf of our client, Harworth Group. Initially, these construction works will see us undertake preparatory works for the new development, including site clearance and earthworks to the development platform. Once these operations are complete, we will then proceed to install new foul-and-storm-water drainage systems. These works require us to make modifications to and divert the current drainage systems in place on Stephenson Way where necessary. We will also be undertaking S278 and S38 works to create new access and egress points to the site, form new roads and footpaths within the development, modify Stephenson Way, and remodel the current entrance to AMRC Training Centre. Please note these works are scheduled to last 22 weeks, not including the Christmas holiday period. Howard Civil Engineering, in partnership with Harworth Group, will always strive to conduct our work as efficiently and sympathetically as possible, with safety for all parties being our main priority throughout. Some disruption, traffic delays, and disturbance will be inevitable due to the nature of the work, but rest assured we will always endeavour to negate or mitigate this as much as possible.
