Following the success of the A19 project which represented the first project for the Highways Agency, HCE have managed to secure the road widening works on the 20km stretch of the A1 between Leeming and Barton.

    Following the success of the A19 project which represented the first project for the Highways Agency, HCE have managed to secure the road widening works on the 20km stretch of the A1 between Leeming and Barton. Working for the Carillion/Morgan Sindall JV the initial stage of the project is worth £1.5m, but could well exceed £3m on completion.
