Throughout December, Howard Civil Engineering is spreading festive cheer by donating £5,000 to a variety of charities and community groups across Yorkshire! We have chosen 12 different causes to help this festive period and we will be documenting these throughout the month using the hashtag #12DaysOfHCE.

For the first day of #12DaysOfHCE, we are supporting St John’s Community Church in Greengates, Bradford.

The church plays an integral role in the local Greengates community, providing support and guidance for many locals including the vulnerable and the elderly.

This £250 donation will help the church to renovate their hall and transform it into a thriving community hub for local residents to hire for events, parties, and community group get-togethers.

Churchwarden Susan Edmondson (pictured, left, alongside Rev Chris Baxfield) expressed her thanks on behalf of the church: “Many thanks to Howard Civil Engineering for their donation. We will be pleased to use it to support our plans as a community church to develop our hub here in Greengates.”
