Kicking off the last week before Christmas is our donation to Sunderland Headlight - another recurring charity for us, as we also supported them in last year’s #12DaysofHCE!

We’re proud to once again provide them with £400, which we hope will assist in their ongoing efforts to provide mental health support to those in their local community, in addition to running various courses and recreational activities as part of this!

Speaking to us about the impact of supporting the charity, Sundland Headlight's had this to say: "We have had a 55% increase in the number of people accessing our organisation for help and support over the last year, so your generous donation means a great deal to us. 

Thank you all for helping us to make a positive difference."

Headlight believes that “everyone has something to offer, and that individuals develop a sense of belonging through participation and relationship building”. This statement is something we couldn’t agree more with, and it’s why we’re more than happy to reaffirm our support of their great work!

The charity hosts a variety of morning and afternoon events for people to come along and enjoy; coffee mornings, bingo, games groups, weekly quizzes, as well as group sessions for men and women respectively. However, offering such a range of activities isn’t easy, which is why supporting their cause is so vital.
